Coach MacKenzie Thomas was born in Regina, SK to a musical family. Rhythm and coordination came naturally, and early childhood memories of watching Rocky led to a life-long appreciation for the "sweet science". After high school, MacKenzie toured Europe with a jazz band, playing drums and percussion, sharing the stage with names of Nora Jones, B.B. King and Shania Twain. Now MacKenzie coaches and instructs boxing at YMATC!
