Mr. Walker

Born in Shaunavon, SK, Mr. Dave Walker got into martial arts partly because of being bullied, but also from watching Kungfu Theater every Sunday afternoon! Did a little bit of boxing, wrestling, and Wado-Ryu karate before moving to Yorkton when he was 14. Trained in ITF at 17, some Judo lessons, and World TKD in 1996. In 2008 he started Haidong Gumdo at YMATC (children had trained TKD in 2004), and made it to orange belt before taking a break. Restarted training just before covid shut the world down. After restrictions, started Kung Fu and Taiji, UCSD and Mugido. WIth one of the most extensive resumes of styles, Mr. Walker continues his training with Kickboxing, Mugido and Self Defense.
